The Lake Bonavista Community Association (LBCA) exists to enhance and enrich the quality of life for children, youth and adults in our community.     

In 1970 the LBCA was created and incorporated and with the help of local residents, the community center was later constructed in 1979.  The LBCA is a charity that operates a 65,000 square foot recreation complex with two ice rinks, a fitness studio, gymnasium, multipurpose room and field house.   We are proud to offer children, youth and adults an affordable, safe, inclusive place to gather and participate in engaging programs, activities and events that support the social, emotional, physical and mental well being of everyone that walks through our door.  

Over the last 50 years we have served thousands of Calgarians, a privilege we hope to cultivate for many years to come.   With our history comes the reality of an aging facility.  Strategic management of repairs and improvements will ensure the longevity and sustainability of our beloved community space.  Donations made to the LBCA contribute to the necessary improvements of the facility.
