Our goal is to raise $20,000 during this winter holiday season and help a bunch more kids pursue their dreams. We hope you'll learn more about us and be a part of the change we're making.
We are a small First Nation-led charity, doing big work right here in B.C.
With your support we’ve been able to create a powerful collection of grants and scholarships, to support our children in:
- Education
- Physical Literacy
- Language, Arts, Culture
- Community Capacity
- Financial Literacy

We are led and stewarded by nine Coast Salish Nations: Halalt, Lyackson, Málexeł, Penelakut, Qualicum, Snaw-naw-as, Snuneymuxw, Stz'uminus and Ts’uubaa-asatx. These nine Coast Salish Nations have a shared purpose and vision for children and communities.
The Kw’umut Lelum Foundation was born out of the need to ensure First Nation control over how we invest in our young people. We are forging our own self-determining path.
The Kw’umut Lelum Foundation honours the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada: Calls to Action. We warmly welcome businesses, industries and individuals into the conversation.
Purpose
We exist to connect commitment with limitless potential. We collaborate with a vibrant community of private and public donors, united in our efforts to expand cultural, economic, social, educational and recreational access in support of Indigenous children and their families.
