Greetings Friends and Community Members!

We are the Knowlton Lions Club is once again asking your support during our Annual Fundraising Campaign as well as your help all year round.

Christmas is the time of year when we shine at our brightest, bringing our diverse community together in the winter streets to cheer on the Santa Claus Parade (celebrating its 60+ anniversary!) and distributing joy to those in need with the annual Christmas food baskets. Did you know that all that - including the much-loved springtime Garage Sale - is carried out year after year by Knowlton Lions Club members and community volunteers? 

And we do so much more. 

Over the past 66 years since the local Lions Club was formed we have contributed to hundreds of causes behind the scenes, from education to sports, the Salamander Summer Camp, supplying eyeglasses to anyone who needs them. In the past we helped build the Coldbrook walking path and contributed to the Douglass Beach refurbishment. We are especially proud of having created popular Lions Park where we now enjoy the playground, tennis and pickleball courts, soccer and baseball fields. 

Despite the pandemic whirlwind, the Knowlton Lions Club continued its benevolence including a $20,000 donation in 2021 to the BMP Hospital for sight testing equipment as vision-related projects are one of our Club’s mandates. 

We are a totally volunteer-run organization with the simple motto “We Serve”. However, we do need your help to continue actively supporting our community with good deeds that benefit us all, including our less fortunate neighbours. A registered Canadian charity, we will send tax receipts for donations over $25.00. With your support we can continue to identify citizen’s needs and make a difference right in our own community.
