The Mission of the Toronto Kiwanis Festival is to operate annual competitive music and performing arts festivals. Working closely with educators and parents, the Festival encourages young people to know and love the arts and fosters the values of self-discipline, teamwork and excellence. In addition, the Festival Association supports the further development of the performing arts in Canada and of talented young people through the provision of scholarships and performance opportunities.

The Festival Association seeks the highest standards in all aspects of its operations. The Association achieves its Mission using a small, highly-motivated professional staff and a large number of dedicated volunteers, both Kiwanians and members of the public. It obtains funding from its operations, Kiwanis Clubs and Kiwanians and from individuals, organizations and corporations within the community.
