So why give? Giving is one of the most impactful ways we can contribute to a better future. This is how we vote with our dollars, support work we believe in, and make the world a little brighter.

All donations of $25 and over to the Kilby Heritage Society are eligible for a tax receipt. What does that mean? That means that 20-45% of the amount you donate is counted toward taxes already paid! When claimed, this will reduce taxes owing in the spring. In BC, a $100 donation results in a $20 tax credit, but a $1000 donation results in a $406 tax credit!The mission of the Kilby Heritage Society is to meaningfully engage with past, present, and people to create a place of connection and wonder for all. We are one of eight Provincial Heritage Properties, which, while a huge honour, only comes with core funding to cover about 15% of our operating costs. The rest comes from grants, admissions, campground fees, and donations! Your donation helps enrich lives, inspire a sense of wonder, and deepens our understanding of British Columbia’s heritage.
