Drivers, start your engines! Get revved up for this year’s KidsAbility Plasma Car Races!

PEER Group of Kitchener invites you to participate in the 2023 Plasma Car Races in support of KidsAbility Foundation at the Catalyst137 building in Kitchener on April 6^th, 2023. Together with family and colleagues, PEER Group is thrilled to host and sponsor this special event in our community. For first-timers, the Plasma Car Races is a corporate, team-building event whereby teams of 4 race to the finish line on plasma cars, to win race titles and prizes, all while raising pledges for KidsAbility. If you thrive on competition and are looking to show off your driving skills, this event is for you!

The last race raised over $62,000 for KidsAbility! Funds are used to help more children realize their potential through the programs, services, and support at KidsAbility. More than 14,000 children and youth receive life-changing therapy each year. Milestones and dreams realized include Jordan becoming a world-record championship swimmer, Graydon running a marathon race, and Maddy attending college this fall for architecture engineering.

Participating in this event is a great way for you and your colleagues to support children in our community and have some friendly and spirited fun. So, make sure you save the date, April 6, 2023. Join us at 7:00am for a morning of fundraising for children and youth with special needs!

What does “supporting KidsAbility” mean?

Donations allow KidsAbility to serve over 1,000 additional children each year in addition to the already 14,000 served from Waterloo Region to Wellington County.
In your neighbourhood, workplace or even your own home, it’s likely you know someone with a KidsAbility story.
Everyday miracles are possible because of you. Thank you for making a difference.

How to participate? Four options, and you can choose more than one:

Register as a team! Each team fundraises a minimum of $1,000 and then relay races their plasma car as a 4 person team on race day. There are trophies for top fundraisers as well as race day performance for speed, costumes, and spirit.
