I will be spending August 9-11 stranded in the woods, eating rice and fighting not to be eliminated. Each year Kids Up Front do an event that mimics "Survivor", it is 3 challenging days, sleeping in the open and fighting to stay, 16 contestants, 2 tribes.I am excited to participate and no matter what the outcome of my weekend and I am excited to raise money and give back to the community.
I have had the privilege of sitting on the B of D for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Foothills for 12 yrs. We have had the support of, amazing organizations such as, Kids up Front. How did I get here: The CEO at the B & G Clubs says "Hey Jamie, your crazy enough to do Stranded in Water Valley, I think you should apply". I laughed, investigated it and thought, what the heck.
