On August 9th, I am heading on the adventure of a lifetime. With 17 other contestants, I will be competing and surviving in a Survivor-Like experience.
For many who know me, I am not necessarily known for my athleticism, however I am known for having a big heart, being fearless in the face of a challenge and a profound love for my city. I hope that by participating in this experience I will be able to continue to prove my boldness and continue to support the community I love.
This experience is in support of Kids Up Front Foundation, which is a Canada-wide organization that puts unused event tickets to deserving kids who wouldn't get this opportunity otherwise. To date, they have provided 2 MILLION tickets to deserving families.
