Breakfast Makes Me Strong!
Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador is a registered charity that supports the education, health and well-being of school age children and youth in Newfoundland and Labrador through nutrition programs run by volunteers at schools and community centres.
We support Kids Eat Smart (KES) Breakfast Clubs in schools and community centres province wide. KES Clubs are universally run programs so that every child and youth is welcome at no cost to families. Currently there are 275 Kids Eat Smart Clubs operating who serve over 47,000 meals every school day!
In Newfoundland and Labrador, 1 in 3 children under the age of 18 live in a food ensure home and come to school hungry. Our goal is to provide school age children and youth with the nutrition they need to learn, to grow, and to be their very best by providing access to food at school, at no cost to families.
