Each year in Alberta, 240 kids are diagnosed with cancer and thrust into stormy waters, where they feel alone and frightened. Approximately 20 per cent of these kids will not survive and over 75 per cent will face a lifetime of health problems, which exact an enormous cost on the survivor, the family and the health care system.

Kids Cancer Care exists to ensure kids experiencing cancer and its lasting effects find a community of others walking a similar path, cultivating diversity, equity and inclusion.  Finding a place to belong where kids and families can be understood and supported is paramount to our mission.
