Just Friends Food Bank is located in the village of Stanley, NB, on the grounds of the historic Stanley Fair. We are within walking distance of the Stanley Consolidated (K-12) School, and our service area is just a little bit larger than the school bus catchment area. We are a small food bank but we provide many services. We help people struggling with modest income to connect with other programs and resources and we strive to advocate and educate on behalf of those we serve.
We have one full-time employee, Pam Stanley, and she is the hardest worker we know. In addition to a food bank, we also run a small thrift store, have a teaching kitchen and common gathering space. We provide free access to our laundry and shower facilities and free internet access.
