Durham Youth Services works with youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. We provide programs and services for homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing, transitional housing and housing stabilization. Our vision is to end youth homelessness in the Durham Region.

When it’s cold outside, most of us reach into our closet for a warm winter coat. But that’s not the reality for everyone and when a youth arrives at the shelter, they often don’t have winter wear that’s appropriate for the cold and snow. Our Virtual Coat and Boot Drive will help provide a warm coat and dry comfortable boots to youth that need them. Our goal of $3000 this season is to outfit 20 youth with winter necessities. So please consider warming your heart by giving warmth to a young person who needs it! Thank you for being a ‘Snow Angel’!
