We seek to serve our neighbourhood relationally, as a community centred around friendship/mutuality, learning and prayer. We believe that a community of friendship, with a open welcome to all, has a deep impact on all who partake in it.
About JACOB'S WELL MINISTRY
Jacob's Well is an ecumenical, nonprofit organization that seeks to move from friendly to friendship, establishing sustainable relationships in the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood of Vancouver. Though much of what we do changes with the needs of our community, we offer weekly days of welcome through community dinners, game nights, coffee times, a prayer room and other means of building community. Thanks to the deep relationships build within this community, we often find effective means of responding to the particular needs of our neighbours and friends.
