Our Mission:

The Islamic Society of Toronto is a Non-profit, registered charity located in the  borough of East York, Central Toronto where over 100,000 Muslims have settled and the Muslim population is growing rapidly. It provides the following services to Muslims since 1991.

* Daily five times prayer Fridays, Eidain, Taraveeh congregational prayers. Over 4000 Muslims attend our congregational prayers.

* Islamic Education to Muslim children. Quran’ic recitation, Islamic Studies, Hifzul Qur’an,  Alimiya class and moral Islamic values.

* Family and youth counselling.

* Dawah programs.

* Marriage services.

* Youth Programs

In order to meet the growing needs of the Muslim community, the IST management has recently purchased another property in 2018 for 11.3 Million Dollars at near by 20 Overlea Blvd.  In new facility we will have additional services such as, 

* A bigger prayer facility to accommodate more people.

* A full time Islamic Education for religious teaching.

* A large Islamic library.

* Multi purpose hall for community services.

* Youth development programs throughout the year

We need to raise 9 million dollars to complete the project. We appeal to all Muslims brothers and sisters to donate generously to complete the house of Allah. (6 Million to Re pay Qzrz and 3 Million for interior renovation in new building)
