19th Annual Young at Heart Ride supporting Barrie's Seniors!
The IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. is pleased to announce the return of the 19th Annual Young at Heart Motorcycle Ride, and are thrilled to welcome back our riders and sponsors.
Details
The 2024 Young at Heart Ride will be hosted by location sponsor – Barrie Harley-Davidson at 311 Bryne Drive, Barrie on Saturday, August 24th, 2024 in support of the IOOF’s redevelopment campaign.
Doors open and registration begins at 9am with ride kick-off at 10am.
Registration fee is $50 to participate, and pre-registration is required. Riders are encouraged to collect pledges, 100% of the profits will benefit the IOOF’s redevelopment campaign.
The 2024 event will feature a 2 hour country ride, a delicious lunch at the IOOF Seniors Homes, raffle prizes, and more!
The IOOF has recently embarked on a $48 million redevelopment capital project, the largest in the IOOF’s history, and the launch of a $1.2 million fundraising campaign to expand the facility (10 Brooks Street) to a 226-bed long-term care home. This transformative revitalization will create 64 new long-term care beds and 66 upgraded beds, modern spaces, updated equipment, private rooms, and increased square footage.
