Join IBBY Canada for KidLit Trivia Night: the virtual edition!
Test your knowledge of kids’ books in this fun virtual event that celebrates and supports the work IBBY Canada does in bringing books and children together.
Hosted by award-winning author Vikki VanSickle and featuring familiar faces from the Canadian kidlit community.

What does the ticket price include?
A super fun evening of online trivia, themed around kids’ books. Great prizes. And of course: the chance to show off your kidlit knowledge!
All ticket sales go toward supporting IBBY Canada.
If you can’t join us, please consider making a donation instead.
Will I get a tax receipt?
Yes, tax receipts will be issued for ticket sales and donations.
Will we play individually or in teams?
Tickets are sold individually, but please plan to attend in teams of four. We’ll create or assign players to teams as needed. Please include your team name when you purchase your ticket.
You may purchase multiple tickets at once if you would like to buy for your whole team. If you’re not sure who will be on your team yet, please fill out your name for all tickets and email info@ibby-canada.org when you’re ready to update us with the correct participant names.
Teams will be assigned to breakout rooms in Zoom to collaborate on the questions. If possible, we encourage you to get together with your team in person, and join the event from one computer/device!
Will the questions be challenging?
Only in the best way! If you're still stuck, you will be able to buy a hint or an answer from our virtual team of kidlit experts.
How many people can attend?
Space is limited. Please book your tickets quickly to ensure you don’t miss out!

If you attended our in-person trivia night in March 2024, you know that Three Writers and a Librarian took down two-time champions, the Green Gables Slayers. We are pleased to confirm that Three Writers and a Librarian and the Slayers will be back and ready to mow down another group of challengers! Are you brave enough to face these kidlit masters?
