Starting over 10 years ago, our children were hit extremely hard by something called PANDAS, which unfortunately most of you probably never heard of nor likely have any clue what PANDAS is.
PANS and PANDAS are conditions where the immune system attacks the brain resulting in severe mental and neurological issues, but doctors often aren't willing to treat it because they don't know enough about it. Or worse yet, patients are often misdiagnosed and given the wrong medication which can make the debilitating symptoms worse.
That is what happened to our children, so we stand with the Canadian Charity, The Inflamed Brain Alliance (IBA) in hopes of preventing the same thing happening to other families.
On SEPTEMBER 21st, we are joining IBA and Steppin' Out for PANS PANDAS, a charity walk to help raise awareness and funds for children and families suffering from PANS PANDAS.
Last year we raised $750, please help us reach our goal of $1000 this year!
