2024 Steppin’ Out for PANS PANDAS Walk!
On Sat, Sept 21 from 1-3 PM, Inflamed Brain Alliance will kick off our 2nd Annual Steppin’ Out for PANS PANDAS fundraising walk. Please join us for a 2 or 5 km walk either virtually, or at one of our two in-person walk locations: a) Bowness Park, Calgary, and b) Erindale Park, Mississauga. Together, we’ll be steppin’ out of our comfort zone onto local park trails for a great cause!
Sadly, public awareness and support of PANS PANDAS has been painfully slow in Canada, which compounds the frustration and helplessness the families often feel. That’s why IBA is deeply committed to raising awareness and funds to help eliminate barriers and suffering for everyone impacted by PANS PANDAS.
All funds raised will go to support IBA’s developing programs to promote health, and advance education and research. Program initiatives include: peer support, group therapy, webinars, 2025 conference, research funding, including launching in 2024 Canada’s own PANS PANDAS contact patient registry and more. If you’re unable to participate in our walk, please consider donating to a team or directly to our campaign.
