Our Mission
The Canadian Retinoblastoma Society was federally incorporated in 2003. We are the only registered charity in Canada dedicated solely to helping Canadian families affected by retinoblastoma. Entirely volunteer-run, our administrative expenses are minimal, which maximizes your donation.
Our mission: SUPPORT for families & patients; EDUCATION for new families and the medical community; funding RESEARCH into new treatments and best practices.
We host family & patient gatherings, patient-physician symposiums, newsletters, and a family support network. We also collect money to support Canadian researchers in retinoblastoma, typically by providing seed money for new projects that improve the lives of retinoblastoma patients.
