Over the past 75 years, our efforts to improve forest health, support ecosystem services, and foster a community connection with nature has grown along with our capacity to create and restore forested landscapes. Now, as Forests Canada, we are taking those decades of knowledge and experience and applying it on a national scale to achieve the greatest possible outcomes for Canada’s forests from coast to coast to coast.
The impact of our work is rooted in tree planting, but it doesn’t start or end there. From the annual collection of viable tree seeds ensuring a reliable and consistent future supply, to supporting local jobs and economies through tree planting and stewardship, we work with a trusted network of partners to ensure the long-term health and resiliency of our forests today, and for future generations.
