Our mission:

Provide an optimal food supply for community agencies serving Montreal’s most vulnerable people while actively participating in the development of sustainable solutions to promote food security, sustainably.

• Founded in 1984, it is a charitable organization firmly rooted in its community;
• It is the largest food bank in Canada;
• For every dollar donated, more than $ 15 worth of food is distributed;
• Giving to Moisson Montreal means helping nearly 300 different community agencies on the Island of Montreal;
• 19.3 million kg of food per year are given to accredited agencies;
• 907,000 requests for food aid are fulfilled per month by our community agencies
