Our Mission
The Yukon Arts Centre (YAC) is a not for profit charitable organization that is dedicated to the development of the arts as an important cultural, social and economic force in the Yukon. We intend to be model for the development of the arts in the north and a stimulus for a vibrant and creative Territory. YAC is the territory’s premiere venue for performing and visual arts.
About YUKON ARTS CENTRE CORPORATION
The Yukon Arts Centre consists of a 424 seat proscenium arch theatre, a 100 seat studio theatre, a class "A" public gallery, a community gallery and the ATCO Yukon Electric Youth Gallery. YAC also manages the Old Fire Hall, a downtown 150 capacity multi-use space.
