The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international, Catholic organization of lay persons that seeks, by person-to-person contact, to live the gospel message through service to all persons who seek our assistance.

Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are committed to bringing hope, love and assistance to the poor and others in need – turning concern into action. Toronto Central Council provides the leadership, coordination, and support required by our Vincentian volunteers and our staff to succeed in that mission.
About SOCIETY OF SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL, TORONTO CENTRAL COUNCIL
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has served those in need in over 100 countries around the world for over 160 years. In the Greater Toronto Area we have 1100+ volunteer members visitng the homes of those in need to bring material assistance (food and clothing vouchers, and arrangements for some basic furniture), compassion, hope, and information.
We serve those in greater need through 22 Special Works, including Marygrove Camp for Girls, shelters for women, homes for recovering alcoholics, and homes for adults who are developmentally handicapped or struggling with mental health issue. We aso operate 4 stores where used items (donated)are available at very reasonable prices.
With our volunteers and staff we are using your donation to turn concern into action.
