About Capitol Centre
The Capitol Centre is a not-for-profit organization focused on providing arts and entertainment programming for residents and visitors to the Northeastern Ontario region. The organization has three main business areas which includes a 1,000-seat performance theatre, one of the largest visual art galleries in Northern Ontario as well as a variety of rooms and spaces for rent by user groups, businesses and patrons.
As a significant contributor to the arts, culture and entertainment industries, the Capitol Centre is a vital asset to the North Bay economy and acts as a destination driver for the downtown core. The organization has been a significant part of North Bay's history since 1929, and it continues to promote the culture and heritage of the community through its historic infrastructure and diverse programming.
