Our Mission
To advance the education, employment, social development, legal rights and general well being of people with learning disabilities (LD) and ADHD. Our purpose is to promote early recognition, diagnosis and treatment of learning disabilities and develop or sponsor appropriate programs and resources for the benefit of people with LD and/or their families.
About LEARNING DISABILITIES ASSOCIATION OF BC - FRASER SOUTH
Our organization is a not-for-profit charity that provides programs, services, resources and information on learning disabilities/challenges and ADHD for over 20 years in the south fraser region. Our current focus is to provide early intervention and remediation to those who are struggling to learn and have fallen behind in reading and math between the ages of 6 and 14. We also provide parents and eduction professionals with monthly seminars presentied by qualified individuals on topics such as LD, ADHD, anxiety and behavioural challenges, for example.
