Sage Seniors Association (Sage) is a senior-serving organization dedicated to empowering older adults by building on the strengths of individuals and communities across the greater Edmonton area.

Now in our 55th year, Sage remains a trusted place for seniors to turn in times of need—offering vital assistance, meaningful connection, and opportunities to share their gifts with the community.

When your support Sage, you support seniors through: 

• -Connections to information, referrals, and community resources
• -Free income tax preparation for low-income seniors  
• -Assistance with government forms and benefits
• -Support finding safe, affordable housing
• -Safety from elder abuse through our Seniors Safe House
• -Welcoming spaces for seniors to stay mentally, physically, and socially active
• -English language learning for immigrant, refugee, and newcomer seniors  
• -Outreach to lonely, isolated, and vulnerable older adults
• -Help for people experiencing hoarding behaviours 
• -Mentorship opportunities for students preparing to work with older adults

Sage staff and volunteers collaborate with partners across the region to build a strong circle of support with and for low-resourced seniors. We do this through:

• -Services that enhance the safety, dignity and well-being 
• -Programs that encourage social connection and lifelong learning
• -Resources that help seniors participate fully in their community
• -Health and wellness supports for vulnerable adults
• -Research and advocacy on issues affecting older persons
