Hugh's Room Live has been a vital part of Toronto's music scene since 2001, operating as a not-for-profit since 2017, and as a charity since 2019.
If you love folk music, roots, singer-songwriters, jazz, blues, and world music, then Hugh's Room Live is your home. We bring people and musicians together in an environment where people really listen to music the way it was meant to be heard. And we play a vital role in supporting the careers of diverse talent, ranging from young artists to legends.
Live music is one of the things that keep our cities liveable; it connects us in an increasingly disconnected world. But like all music venues and small businesses Hugh's Room Live is under growing pressure. We count on donations from people who believe in what we do.
