ABOUT THE CHARITY

The Hamilton Housing Help Centre is a non-profit social service agency that acts as a portal to housing services. The Centre provides information, advocacy and support to people who need housing, especially people with low income and people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Hamilton Housing Help Centre offers a variety of supports and resources to help people retain safe, secure and affordable housing.

Your support will help us build a stronger community. Donations can be directed to a programs of your choice.

Hamilton PAWS   

Hamilton PAWS core services help individuals find temporary accommodations for their pet so they may access essential or crisis services. Using supports and services available in the community, Hamilton PAWS works to keep individuals and their pet companions together during times of need.

Hamilton PAWS also partners with and hosts the local Community Veterinary Outreach clinics that provide no cost, preventive, veterinary care to the most vulnerable and at risk individuals and their animal companions.

Hamilton Paws has been addressing gaps in services and identifying practical solutions for vulnerable persons and their animal companions. The vision of the program was specifically designed to address the lack of resources for those needing to access essential services and were denied entry because those facilities did/do not accommodate people with companion animals.

As an inspired and innovative collaboration, Hamilton PAWS envisions a community where no one has to choose between accessing essential or crisis services or pet ownership.
