Our Mission
House of Hesed provides a home to men and women living with HIV/AIDS as an expression of our Christian belief and desire to extend physical, emotional and spiritual support, regardless of race, creed, gender or sexual orientation. In a spirit of compassion we hope to dispel the stigma and fear surrounding those living with HIV/AIDS.
About HOUSE OF HESED - HIV/AIDS Transition Home
Our home is a three story house, located in the heart of Winnipeg, close to amenities, clinics, and other HIV resources. We live as a family, housing 10 persons, each in their own room with several common areas to gather. We provide 24 hour staffing. Our desire is to share mercy, hope, dignity and peace - enhancing the quality of life of persons affected by HIV.
The House of Hesed is committed to educating our community to help dispel the stigma and fear surrounding HIV, and lead others to a spirit of love and compassion. We encourage our community at large to participate in this ministry.
