Volunteers are the Heart of Hospice and I've been privileged to work with our amazing team of Hospice Toronto Volunteers for over three years. They inspire me every day with their dedication to service.
It's not easy to talk about dying or grief, but our volunteers create brave and safe spaces for people to face these two common, human experiences. They meet people at the most tender and difficult times in their lives and empower them with knowledge and compassionate presence to be able to experience these challenging transitions with grace and comfort.
