Annette is a top Canadian businesswoman who lives in Toronto, but her heart remains in her birthplace, Cape Breton. Annette is a champion of volunteerism and contributes whenever she can to education, health, and other community-based efforts.
When my mother had a terminal illness and died in 2000, the Cape Breton Hospice didn't exist. The options to provide palliative care were different then but many people were working towards creating a safe, compassionate place. Now we are fortunate to have the Cape Breton Hospice providing that important end of life care for our nearest and dearest. I'm dancing to support our wonderful caring community.
Annette’s dance partner is the well-known and talented, Highland Art’s Theater, Artistic and Executive Director, Wesley Colford. This duo will be sure to bring creativity and originality to their dance to the delight of all.
