At a time when you need help most, Hospice Muskoka provides compassionate comfort, emotional, and spiritual support.
Hospice Muskoka has been serving the residents of South and West Muskoka since 1995.
Services are available to residents of Muskoka Lakes, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, and Georgian Bay Townships, including Wahta First Nation and Moose Deer Point First Nation and, by extension their families.
Hospice Muskoka is a service that reaches out to people through one of three program streams; Visiting Volunteers, Andy’s House, and Grief and Bereavement Support. Hospice or palliative care describes an approach to care that embodies the whole person and their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Hospice Muskoka has: 20 professional staff providing 24/7 care at Andy’s House, over 50 professionally trained Visiting Volunteers who provide our clients and their families with compassionate care and bereavement support; over 25 Hospice Helpers who raise awareness in the community, fundraise and sit on various committees; and 9 Board Members who guide and support our operations.
We provide grief and bereavement support for persons of all ages, including children and youth. Education and public awareness about our programs, advance care planning and end-of-life support/services is available at www.hospicemuskoka.com
