Please donate to my "Hike" as I walk in memory of my family members. It's a virtual event this year so on May 30th I will be walking my favourite route, the Waterfront at Rotary Park, at my own pace as part of this great event, raising funds for a cause that's important to me.
Hospice Huronia has a hospice home called Tomkins House which provides end-of-life care for residents in North Simcoe and bereavement support to community members who are dealing with loss. Compassionate staff and volunteers take extra steps to ensure the residents and their families are comfortable and at ease - baking, cooking favourite meals and giving of their time.
Its a special place with 50% of their expenses funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care, the rest comes from generous donors and fundraisers.
