We urgently need $40,000 as word has gotten out among women who want to escape sexual exploitation that Hope Restored in Saskatoon is there for them. With increased demand, we’ve had to increase staff and supports. Through our safe house and holistic restoration program, women are finding hope, transformation, and personal growth. That’s what Hope Restored is all about!
We invite you to consider how you can support us in making a difference!
One participant said she was surprised by how much support she received in the program. It helped her to develop stronger self-esteem and confidence in her choices, she said. She was also able to form relationships with women facing similar challenges.
She encouraged other women trying to escape an abusive situation to hold on to hope. "It gets a lot better if you open up and do what needs to be done to heal".
Who contributes to this collective effort in making a difference?
The program participants, through their commitment to personal growth and change. They are the ones for whom we exist.
The donors and funders, the individuals and agencies who provide necessary financial resources. During 2021, we benefited from additional COVID funding provided by the federal government and other agencies, as well as valuable personal contributions from individual donors.
The staff and volunteers, who give tirelessly of their time, talent, and energy to ensure that individual participant needs are met. Joeline Magill, in her role as Executive Director, has been instrumental in leading the organization’s program growth and development. She inspires the
contracted staff and cadre of volunteers that offer their expertise and time to fulfill program needs. She is a role model and servant leader for the dozens of participants that have accessed our programs and services.
