André and Chris Goyer

Hockey was at the heart of Chris and André’s lives.
For Chris, the game was everything, whether he was playing, watching, or rattling off player stats, the rink was his second home. His passion for hockey was unmatched, and it was a love he and André shared.
André was a devoted supporter of youth hockey, always there for his children, Chris and Michelle, throughout their time in the sport. He never missed a game, a practice, or a chance to cheer them on, celebrating every goal, assist, and milestone. He made sure they had the opportunity to play, knowing how much the game meant to them. He was their biggest fan.
Despite being born in Montreal, André was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs fan, never missing a game. His love for the sport and for his son made hockey an unbreakable bond between them - one filled with excitement, fierce loyalty, and countless memories. Now, after years apart, Chris and André are reunited, just in time for the playoffs.
The Chris Goyer Memorial Fund honors their passion for hockey by supporting young new athletes who share that same love for the game. Donations to this fund provide financial assistance to youth players, ensuring the next generation has the chance to experience the joy that meant so much to Chris and André. Your contribution keeps their legacy alive and helps make hockey accessible for all.

All preset donation amounts have incorporated #44 in honour of Chris who played defense and wore this number. His favorite player is LA Kings defenceman Drew Doughty who wears #8.

“The world is not the same without you my friend. But it makes it easier to imagine you and Chris together, causing mischief and supporting each other.”
