At Hockey 4 Youth Foundation, our mission is to foster social inclusion for new Canadian and high priority youth through free ice hockey at no cost while learning valuable off-ice life skills through our T.E.A.C.H. program (Technology, Entrepreneurship, Arts, Community-giving, Healthy-active living). We have students who are representing 42 countries of origin including: Syria, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Philippines, Jamaica, Ethiopia, Brazil and Mexico. 

Since 2015, we have worked with over 1,000 newcomer and sidelined kids and teens in Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Windsor, Montreal, Prince George, Surrey and Vernon. They have learned how to skate, play hockey, improve their literacy and language skills and feel socially included. Eleven of our Thirteen programs in 2024-2025 are for girls.
