My Dad passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in 2016. There were a lot of wonderful people who supported our family through this incredibly difficult time and his doctors were a key part of that. Dr. Berger was Dad's palliative care doctor and was instrumental in Dad's decision to move to Hill House. Dad was unsure, as of course we were, of what it would be like for him at Hill House. But, when we arrived and they embraced us as if we were family we knew he had made the right decision. After the first night when his nurse came to check on him, he said "This bed is magic. I haven't slept this well in weeks". That was all we needed to hear. We knew he was in the best place he could possibly be and we were only just beginning to see the "magic" of Hill House. From doctors, to nurses, to personal support workers to volunteers, everyone we interacted with was an exceptional human being. I truly hope you can help support the incredible work they do.
