Janet Morse

I have had the privilege to be involved with Hill House Hospice since its inception. As a physician, I have had many patients benefit from the wonderful care and support offered by Hill House, and have worked with the amazing team of staff there.  I have also benefitted personally, as my own father, Peter, spent his last days at Hill House, as did our dear friend June.

Since 2018, I have sat on the Board of Directors, in the role of Chair since 2019. It is truly amazing to work with such a dedicated care team, who in the last year has had to pivot to adapt to the pandemic, while continually caring for patients at the house. It is inspiring to work with  a passionate and dedicated Board, and our new Executive Director, Michelle Hambly. Although Hill House receives government funding, over 50% of our costs are funded through donations.
