The High River Performing Arts Foundation plays a pivotal role in fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and promoting a deep appreciation for the performing arts in the community of High River.  Their commitment to providing accessible and high-quality arts programming has enriched the lives of individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Over the years, I have witnessed the positive impact of their initiatives on my students, both as performers and audience members. As arts educators, we continually seek opportunities to connect our students with their community. The establishment of The Venue will fill a critical void in our community infrastructure, supporting arts and culture in our schools for years to come.

What can we do? We are helping to spearhead a donation drive for our friends at the HRPAF, where donations made on behalf of Highwood Musicians, past and present, would allow the Highwood Band Program to be named as a Founding Donor for The Venue. I firmly believe that supporting organisations like the High River Performing Arts Foundation is crucial for the continued growth and vitality of our community. Their programs not only entertain but also enrich the cultural fabric of High River, making it a more vibrant and desirable place to live.
