Food for Thought is a registered charity run by a dedicated group of local citizens who believe that all children should have access to healthy food every day.

When children have healthy food, they will be more likely to choose healthy eating in the future, maintain a fit lifestyle and therefore make our community healthier as a whole.

Currently healthy lunches are provided for students from PreK-12 at schools in High River, Cayley, Blackie, Black Diamond and Turner Valley.

All our meals are prepared in an approved commercial kitchen.

Many children, for numerous reasons, are sent to school every day without a healthy lunch, some of these kids go hungry all day.

At Food For Thought, we believe that every child deserves regular and reliable access to a nutritious meal every school day.

Over 100 healthy lunches are prepared and delivered daily to school children in High River, Blackie and Cayley every day. We work in partnership with the schools we serve.
