Heritage Winnipeg is an independent, non-profit, charitable organization incorporated in 1978 as a cooperative effort between the City of Winnipeg, the Province of Manitoba, and the National Trust for Canada. Our mandate is to support the conservation of Winnipeg’s built heritage.

We advocate for heritage buildings and provide many services and resources that support building owners, NGOs, government, and the public, in addition to collaborating on projects and events with like-minded organizations. We also promote built heritage through local, provincial and national events, and provide opportunities for employment, volunteering, and education, which helps build community.

Protecting our community’s built heritage fosters healthy, unique, diverse, environmentally friendly, and fiscally viable neighbourhoods that we can all be proud to call home for generations to come!
