Overview

Join us for HWF's Sweet 16 Gala, a candy-filled prom party full of whimsy, and fun and a playful celebration of our 16th annual event.

Think of it as a chance to recreate the enchantment of prom night, creating new memories with a twist of nostalgia, and all for a great cause!

This is our biggest fundraising event of the year, with all proceeds going directly towards supporting our free volunteer-run programs.

Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner and great entertainment. We’ll have a fun photo booth donated by Lexibooth, a sweets bar and a rocking dance party! Don’t miss our famous silent and live auctions with treasure troves of terrific items you’ll want to take home. After the meal, stick around for our DJ, where we can dance the night away together!

We invite our guests to dress in the style of the prom you attended or hoped to attend or - do your own thing! At this prom, everyone is welcome and included.

Our MC: Elliott Bourgeois

We are pleased to have Elliott return as our Master of Ceremony! With both his undergrad and master's degrees from the University of Ottawa, Elliott is a finance professional who’s passionate about building stronger communities. He leads the Family Wealth Advisory division of Welch LLP and volunteers on the Board of the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival and Foundation, the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation Leadership Council, and the Ottawa Food Bank investment advisory committee.
