More moments. More Life. That’s why Heart & Stroke NB leads the fight against heart disease and stroke.
Our Vision:
Healthy Lives Free of Heart Disease and Stroke.
Our Mission:
Promote Health. Save Lives. Enhance Recovery.
Our Strategy:
Since 1966 the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick has led the fight against heart disease and stroke right here, at home.
Active in communities across the province, Heart & Stroke NB is sustained by the commitment of our volunteers and donors. It is those commitments that allow us to continue to pursue our mission to promote health, save lives and enhance recovery in New Brunswick.
Heart & Stroke NB is the only provincial foundation that operates independently from Heart & Stroke Canada.
What we do:
AEDs and CPR Training
We provide hands only CPR training and AED installation and training across the province. We have placed over 450 AEDs across the province and there is now an AED in every high school and arena in NB. In the last five years, our AEDs have already saved 21 lives in NB.
Research: Cardiovascular Endowment
HSFNB has established a fund that will focus on providing funding for cardiovascular research in New Brunswick.
