Lillyauna's Legacy

As many of you are aware, I had to go to the Hospital for care surrounding my Mental Health post birth. I experienced high levels of Anxiety and Depression, which got so severe that I stopped taking care of myself. This then resulted in what they have labelled a "depression induced psychosis" and needing to stay in in-patient psychiatric care for over 3 weeks. As a gesture of support to other parents, parents to be, and my Daughter Lillyauna I hope to raise money to increase the supports needed for parents following birth. 

On October 31, we're walking to raise funds to help cover the cost of support groups. The funds help compensate the certified mental health professionals who lead and the trained peers who help facilitate. But most importantly, to keep them free for every mom who needs them. 

Reducing isolation and increasing support was fundamental to my recovery so we hope you will support us!
