Overview
The Hamilton Literary Awards is an annual program to recognize and celebrate published authors from the Greater Hamilton Area and Six Nations of the Grand River. Celebrate 30 years of literary excellence with Hamilton Arts Council at Hamilton Public Library!
Guests of the Ceremony will hear excerpt readings from the Shortlisted authors, and have the opportunity to interact with local book sellers, publishers and arts organizations. Attend to find out who will be awarded in the categories of Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, the Kerry Schooley Book Award, and (brand new this year), the Children's Book Award!
The Hamilton Literary Awards Ceremony will be held at Hamilton Public Library, Central Library, in the Hamilton and Wentworth room (first floor). Please advise HAC of any accessibility concerns (email: coordinator@hamiltonartscouncil.ca).
Doors open at 6:30 P.M, with the Ceremony beginning at 7:00 P.M and running until approximately 9:00 P.M.
