I received a note from a HDSB teacher in December – “A student in my class just got a new winter coat thanks to your organization!  It is going to be minus 15 degrees tomorrow with the wind chill and the special needs student your organization helped will be warm :-)      PS.  Her other jacket had a huge rip on the side, a broken zipper and was way too small.  She now has a warm winter coat that is a beautiful pink colour that she is so proud of wearing.  Thank you!”

We need more Beautiful Pink Coat moments – where students feel included, cared for, basic necessities are being met … they feel proud.
