About Haitian Education Society (HES)
The Haitian Education Society (HES) supports the work of the St Joseph Family (SJF) in Jacmel, Haiti. Dedicated to serving the marginalized and impoverished children in Jacmel, SJF operates a school, Lekòl Sen Trinite offering a rich learning experience in Montessori Pre-Kindergarten to Grade Nine.
Supporting the whole teaching and learning experience at LST is what HES is all about. Through student and teacher sponsorships as well as special project funds, children who otherwise would not be able to go to school are benefitting from an education and partaking in a variety of after school programs.
