Overview

Join us for live, “game show style” trivia. This ticketed event is one for the grownups and will support Growing Chefs edible education programming this spring!

On Tuesday, April 27th at 7:00pm PST, Growing Chefs will host an exciting, interactive, virtual food trivia game designed for adults. This trivia night's theme will be the story behind food (On the Origin of Pea Seeds, if you will).

This event is a great way to learn more about where food comes from, plus, top players will be eligible to win some great prizes!

Details

The zoom event will open at 6:45pm PST. We recommend you check-in about 10 minutes before our 7:00pm PST game start time to get set up.

ONE TICKET PER PARTICIPANT, please.

To participate, you will need 2 internet-connected devices (there are no downloads or apps required, everything is online); A computer or tablet to log in to the zoom and see the questions, and a smartphone or tablet to be your "gamepad" to select and submit your answers.

Plan for this to be a one-hour event. Unfortunately, late players may not be accommodated once the game is underway.

Those who purchase Trivia + Beer Tickets will be required to pick up their 4-pack/6-pack of beer from select local breweries. Participating breweries include Bridge Brewing Company in North Vancouver, The Parkside Brewery in Port Moody, and Strange Fellows Brewing in Vancouver.

About This Charity

Many kids in British Columbia lack access to fresh, healthy food or understand how food is grown or where it comes from. Growing Chefs is on a mission to change that by offering super fun, interactive, hands-on edible education programs in Metro Vancouver and Greater Victoria.
