The GVCB has nearly 100 musicians, all working together that enjoy playing concert band music. We musicians are from all walks of life – students, music teachers, engineers, lawyers, accountants, etc.  

There are four playing levels:

Novice - for those that are just picking up an instrument for the first time or switching to a different instrument;

Junior - for those people who have some skills;

Intermediate - for those people are accomplished players; and

Senior - for those players whom have never really put down their instrument.

We play in 10-12 concerts a year on Southern Vancouver Island and the surrounding region.
