When I was 5 years old, I had finally convinced my parents to get a cat. So when my father and I went to my grandparents' farm, we adopted a cat that I later named stripey. She was the first animal ever had. Stripey lived in our home for many years, until one day we accidentally left the door open and she ran outside; sadly never to be seen again. Stripey will hold a special place in my heart forever. Since then we have adopted 3 cats, Pinky, Lilly, and Peter, and a dog named Chika.
